Guy ismét csicsergett

Madonna menedzsere hosszú idő után ismét Twitterezett és az énekesnő első számú rajongóval, azaz Perez Hiltonnal beszélgetett. Guy azt mondta, hogy egy ideig elbújt. Jelenleg New Yorkban tartózkodik, mert már második napja tartanak a Sticky and Sweet turné próbái. Majd kérdést intézett Perezhez, hogy részt vesz-e valamelyik európai állomáson. Perez erre azt felelte, hogy Európa nagyon messze van, de Madonnát mindenekfelett szereti.

Majd azt kérdezte Guytól, igaz-e, hogy Madonna a Who's That Girlt próbálja. Guy megcáfolta. A menedzser megerősítette azokat a híreszteléseket, miszerint Madonna koncertet ad Istanbulban, azonban elárulta, hogy nem kedvez az idő, ugyanis a meghirdetett időpont egybeesik a Ramadánnal. Majd egy másik rajongónak azt felelte, hogy Madonna minden nap azzal nyaggatja, hogy már alig várja, hogy Dél-Amerikában koncertezzen, mert imádja azt a helyet.

Úgy tűnik, mintha a Louis Vuitton számára minden pénzt megérne Madonna, hiszen egyes hírek szerint 10 millió dollárt kap azért, hogy a cég tavaszi/nyári kollekciójának legyen az arca.

1992. október 9-én a francia kormány bejelentette, hogy Madonnának kétmillió dolláros adóhátraléka van még az 1987-es évből, 1997-ben felcsendült a Candy Perfume Girl a Versace Fashion Shown, amelyen a 1998-as tavazs/nyár kollekciót mutatták be, 2003-ban a The English Roses könyvből már 500 ezer példány fogyott.

A Material Girl olyan dal, amely Madonnát egy életre megbélyegezte, bár ő maga a The Virgin Touron úgy nyilatkozott, hogy a pénznél nagyobb szüksége van a szeretetre. Miközben hallgatjuk, feltűnhet, hogy a dalt eredetileg egy férfi énekesnek ajánlották, ám miután Madonna elkezdett iránta érdeklődni, egy kicsit átdolgozták. A basszusoknál felfedezhető némi hasonlóság a The Jacksons Can You Feel It című számával, mely az 1980-ban megjelent Triumph albumon szerepel, és amely szintén visszanyúl a gyökerekhez, hiszen a Jefferson Airplane 1960-as White Rabbit slágerén alapszik. A remixekkel kapcsolatban ugyanaz a helyzet, mint a Like A Virgin kislemeznél: a bővített táncos változat a 12” bakelitre készült és aztán 1990-ben a Q-Sound Version a The Immaculate Collection albumra. A kislemez borítója nemcsak az Atlanti óceán két partján különbözik egymástól, hanem más a japán kiadás borítója is. Az elülső oldalon az Angel kislemez fotóját láthatjuk, míg a hátoldalán az Into The Groove-ról. Minden 7” bakelitlemezre Steven Meisel készítette a fotókat, kivételt képez a japán 12” maxi CD, melyre Herb Ritts munkája került.

Madonna a legcsintalanabb

Az amerikai In Touch magazin felmérése alapján Madonnát választották a legcsintalanabb lánynak a zeneiparban. A lap azt írja róla, hogy bár ma már nem csintalankodik annyit, de azért a 80-as és 90-es években rettegtek tőle a lányos anyák. Főleg, amiért rosszalkodott a videóiban és meztelenül fotóztatta magát a Sex című könyvéhez. A lista második helyén Drew Barrymoore szerepel. A legjobbak vagy inkább a legrosszabbak közé a top ötbe bekerült még Christina Aguilera is.
